Jersey LB pumped about UCF offer

Neal Nelson and his family have always loved vacationing in Orlando. Now the New Jersey linebacker has the opportunity to play college football in one of his favorite cities.



On the second day on the road for spring evaluations, UCF tight ends coach Allen Mogridge stopped by Timber Creek High School, located in South Jersey outside of Philadelphia, to check in with Nelson and he later conversed with him by phone.


"It's an honor," Nelson said Tuesday afternoon. "Coach Mo stopped by today and then I got a call. He said he likes where I'm going and where my head is at. He said all the coaches were impressed with my film over there. He said they were going to offer me. I was really happy to hear that. I like UCF a lot. It was really cool."
