Part II: Carson Williams Speaks Out !

Quarterback prospect Carson Williams agreed to sit down with GoBlackKnights.com and discuss his recruitment and his decision to attend West Point.

Despite the fact that he had offers from schools like Arkansas, Vanderbilt and UAB, Williams said there were several things that led him to pledge to Coach Bobby Ross and the Black Knights.

Williams: It started out at the end of my junior year, after I attended summer football camps. I got an offer from Vanderbilt, and they are a prestious school, but they started to put a lot of pressure on me. They said that if I wasn't going to commit, they would find someone else.

Staff: What other schools expressed interest and offered you subsequent to that?

Williams: Vandy was followed by UAB (offer) during my senior football season..
