New school joins four others on Jackson's list

There's no secret about the talent that Greenfield, Ohio, McClain junior Dante Jackson possesses. He was showered with accolades this past season after making the Tigers one of the best teams in the state. As his junior season is nearing a close, his recruitment is about to take center stage.

Dayton coaches Brian Gregory, Billy Schmidt, and Reggie Rankin all came to McClain games at some point this season to watch the Tiger scorer. Jackson said that BG was at the home game against Miami Trace on January 6. "Actually, I shot the ball extremely well that night," Jackson admitted when asked of his performance in front of Dayton's head coach. "I had a double-double with 38 points."

He finished the season averaging 28.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists while helping the Tigers to a Sectional Championship before bowing out to Logan Elm in the District Semifinals.
