Another Fehoko enters the recruiting process

Whitley Fehoko was one of the Aloha State's top prospects from the Class of 2006, and now his brother Sam Fehoko finds himself on recruiting boards across the country.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound junior from Aiea (Hawaii) Farrington has already picked up two scholarship offers.

Fehoko was an All-Star team selection last season after he recorded 77 tackles, 20 for a loss, 12 sacks and two blocked punts.

"Colleges project me as a defensive end or as an outside linebacker," he expressed. "I do really well against the run even though I'm an undersized defensive end.

"I'm hard working, determined, motivated and I don't make excuses or take things for granted."

Which colleges are in the mix early on?

"I have full-ride scholarship offers from San Diego State and Utah," Fehoko explained. "I'm waiting on Auburn. They have really come on strong early in the recruiting process."
