Coming off of a national championship, a good number of Longhorn fans have been waiting for the Texas staff to throw out offers to some of the top out-of-state prospects. So far, the Longhorn coaches have focused on locking up the top guys within the state bounds, aside from a couple of notable exceptions in John Brantley and Zack Pianalto. But that could change once the May evaluation period rolls around, and one of the names that's been kicked around as a possible target is that of Rivals100 member John Brown.
The Lakeland (FL) defensive tackle John Brown is already holding offers from some of the country's top programs, and while he has received a spattering of literature from Texas, the interest from the Longhorns has been minimal up to this point.
