Shula to visit Sanders
Buckhorn, Ala., defensive tackle Justin Sanders has seen his recruitment pick-up, with his first two scholarship offers coming in the mail within the last two weeks. Sanders, 6-foot-5, 270-pounds, picked up written offers from Louisville and Southern Miss and other schools are beginning to show legitimate interest.
"I got my first written offer last week from Louisville and today Southern Miss sent me one in the mail," Sanders said. "It feels good to get the first ones behind me, but I think there will be more. I've been hearing from a lot of schools who say they are close so I'm excited about that. My coach has talked to a lot of staffs who said they will be coming through for the spring evaluation period."
Alabama assistant Chris Ball is recruiting Sanders, 6-foot-5, 270-pounds, for the Tide and he and head coach Mike Shula will make the trip to Buckhorn Tuesday to watch the rising star in action.
