Louisiana receiver eyeing the Vols

One of the needs for the Tennessee recruiting class in 2007 is the wide receiver position and one place the Vols are trying to find some wideout success in Louisiana. Specifically, Sterlington High School in Sterlington, Louisiana.

Ahmad Paige is a 6-foot-3, 175 pound receiver who is sporting offers from the elite programs around the country. Paige's offer list includes Florida State, Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee.

Paige admits to growing up a Florida State fan, but also acknowledges that he is open to everyone who calls including the Vols.

"I have some interest in Tennessee," Paige said. "I know of them, but don't know a lot of specifics about them. I watched them a couple of years ago when Brent Schaeffer was playing there and I loved his game. In talking to the coaches, I know they liked his game, but not his off the field actions."
