Simas talks San Diego State

San Diego Mira Mesa high wide receiver Markques Simas has been turning heads since his sophomore year.


So, it should come as no surprise that this 6-foot-2 and 200 pound pass catcher should be one of the most heavily sought after prizes in the 2007 recruiting class.


Last year, Simas was a San Diego all-CIF selection after catching 41 passes for 875 yards and 16 touchdowns while averaging 21.3 yards per catch.


Simas has garnered plenty of attention from Division one recruiters and boasts offers from Colorado, Oregon State, Boise State and San Diego State.


The talented wideout has also received overtures from Clemson, Arizona State, and USC.
