Ebbitt draws interest from east to west coast

For Oaks Christian, in Westlake, Calif., defensive end, Michael Ebbitt, this is gravy.

Coming off his first season as a starting defensive end, Ebbitt can't imagine how things could get better for him.

His team went undefeated and won the state title for their division. He got to play alongside his best friend and fellow prospect Duke a, and now several schools around the country are courting him.

"It doesn't get much better than this. I just love playing football," he said.

If Ebbitt can't imagine how much better life could be, just wait until the recruiting season heats up this fall. Already he has offers from more than a half-dozen schools, including Virginia, Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Oregon State, Oregon, and Tennessee. He's also seeing interest from USC. He speaks with the coaches from Virginia, Colorado, Oregon, and Arizona on a regular basis. These also happen to be the schools he's most interested in as well.
