Swinney visits First Coast defensive back Friday

Clemson has been successful recruiting in the Greater Jacksonville, Fla., area in recent years, particularly at First Coast High.

Former First Coast products, safety Brandon Croley and tight end Paul Muse are currently on the Clemson roster.

Back on March 21, introduced its readers to First Coast cornerback Jamire Williams.

The 6-foot, 180-pound athlete runs the forty-yard dash in 4.4 seconds. He's also one of the top cover-corners in the Sunshine State, and entering the second week of May his offer-sheet is starting to support that contention, as Williams has full rides from Tennessee, Nebraska, South Carolina, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Connecticut, South Florida and Ball State. Florida and Clemson could be close to offering.
