Johnson still high on the Muskies

Very few players have more upside in the 2007 class than JaJuan Johnson. The lanky 6-foot-10 big man is spending the summer working on his game while playing for the Spiece Central Stars. Though he is still raw, Johnson continues to hear from several high-major schools. In the last couple of weeks the big man received official scholarship offers from two Big East schools.

The Spiece Central Stars are one of the better teams on AAU circuit this summer. With a good blend of inside and outside game, the Central Stars have impressed many onlookers with their play. We've got a couple of new guys, but we're coming together. We've had a lot of people not be able to be here and that kind of stuff, but once we get everyone here we should be pretty good. I actually think I've been playing pretty well, I've been running the floor hard, playing good defense, and I'm just trying to do my best," Johnson said about the play of himself and his team.
