Huskies looking at SoCal signal-caller

David Potts, starting quarterback from Monrovia High School, is excited to begin his upcoming senior football season.


"Next season, I'd like to spend some time learning how to more effectively read the defense, as well as continuing to work on being more consistant with my passes."


Potts has plenty to look forward to. He's been billed as a dual threat - a 6-2 right handed quarterback who last season threw for 1,412 yards and 10 touchdowns, while managing to pick up 237 yards on the run and four rushing touchdowns.
