FCA Pigskin Combine: Prospect Update Part II
The 9th Annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Combine was a success as it ended before threatening clouds could unload on War Memorial Stadium, and over 200 athletes attended the event.
Few athletes in the state this year have a more familiar name than North Little Rock wide receiver Brett Moncrief, 6-4, 200. Moncrief is the son of former UA basketball great Sidney Moncrief.
"This combine can help the colleges look at me more and recruit me," Moncrief said. "I do my best in the one-on-one drills."
Moncrief transferred from Little Rock Hall to North Little Rock at midterm and feels it was a very positive move for him.
"It's a lot better," Moncrief said of his new school. "They have great coaches and I'm just ready to win."
