Chris Walker is one of the south's best

If your school is looking for a linebacker or just a stud of an athlete, chances are, they are looking towards Memphis standout Chris Walker.

The 6-foot-3, 220 pound all-state performer from Christian Brothers High has been wreaking havoc on the gridiron for the past few years and all of that has paid off with colleges knocking down his door.

Chris Walker holds offers from Alabama, Miami, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Memphis, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, Notre Dame, and Michigan.

The level headed Walker says that he's had quite a first week of visits to his school from many schools.

"The first week, it was kinda hectic," says Walker. "Coaches from Miami, Notre Dame, Michigan, Coach Miles from LSU, Coach Johnson and Coach Belin from Vanderbilt, Coach Shula from Alabama, Coach Stringer from Mississippi State, Coach Orgeron from Ole Miss, Coach Fichtner from Memphis, and Coach Steele from Florida State."
