Ditto likes the idea of UCLA
The NIKE Camp at Penn State University on May 6 saw two of the top SPARQ Ratings in the country posted and also saw a number of top prospects further elevate their stock. One who fits into the latter category is Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway wide receiver/tight end Jon Ditto who came into the camp with double digit offers and increased that number after his performance.
Virginia and Purdue are two of the latest teams to offer the 6-3, 205-pound Ditto who has the 4.55 40-yard dash speed to play receiver, but also has the body that some believe could fit better at tight end at the collegiate level. His offer total is now nearing the 20 mark.
Many teams outside of the Midwest have offered Ditto, but UCLA is one of the few West Coast teams showing serious interest. They offered the Pennsylvania star about a month ago through his head coach at Gateway. Their contact directly with Ditto has been sparse since, but he still maintains a high level of interest in the Bruins.
Besides the offers, many coaches text messaged him to compliment Ditto on the day he had at the NIKE Camp. And while he proved he can play the wide receiver position to most, Ditto is open to the tight end position as well.
