UNC in good with Milstead?

Lamar Milstead, a 6-6, 270-pound offensive tackle from Washington, D.C., Coolidge, is the type of football player that any head coach would love to have on his team.

Mild-mannered and courteous off the field, and simply tenacious on the field, Milstead brings a powerful combination of technique and explosion to the Colts.

"His character as a young man is strong," said Jason Lane, Coolidge's head coach.

"In addition, his pass blocking is outstanding. Lamar has great upswing, great potential."

"He just turned 17; He hasn't reached his full potential yet, and he has a lot of room to grow on," Lane added.
