Buckeyes still tops for lifelong fan

Cincinnati Anderson High School lineman Mark Wetterer stated at the Ohio State spring game that he would become a Buckeye if they offered.

Nearly a month later, the offer remains on the table for the Buckeyes but an offer has not been extended to Wetterer.

"I've been talking to them and they've just been seeing what's going on," Wetterer told BuckeyeSports.com. "They've been wanting me to come down for a camp. I'm going to a one-day camp this summer."

It could be then that the Buckeyes extend Wetterer an offer.

Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 295 pounds, the offensive tackle has drawn offers from schools such as Cincinnati, West Virginia and Maryland but still holds OSU at the top of his list.
