Auburn and others check out Florida RB
Oakland Park, Fla., Northeast running back Bo Williams looked around Thursday night before his final spring game and saw a huge collection of college coaches in attendance.
Assistants from Auburn, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, UCLA, Louisville, Boston College, N.C. State and even Florida head coach Urban Meyer were just a few of the faces he saw in the crowd.
He felt the pressure to perform. No big deal for Williams. According to the 6-foot-1, 203-pounder, that is when he's at his best.
He proved it that night.
Williams rushed for 120 yards and scored three touchdowns, although two were called back for holding penalties. One game earlier (Northeast played two spring games) Williams rushed for 100 yards including a 60-yarder
all in the first quarter.
"I did pretty good," said Williams, who now claims 40 offers. "It felt great to do that in front of all of those coaches. I'm glad I got a chance to perform in front of everyone."
