Bruins hard on the recruiting trail

The UCLA Bruins are working eight days a week this spring and are planting seeds with some of the nation's top prospects. Not only that this hard working staff is laying the foundation for future classes as they hitting high schools coast-to-coast.


One player the Bruins are trying to get into the act with is athlete prospect Morgan Burnett (6-2, 190, 4.4) from College Park, Ga., North Clayton.


North Clayton is the same high school that produced former Georgia Bulldog and now Atlanta Falcon draftee quarterback D.J. Shockley.


Burnett is a two-way standout as a safety and quarterback but projects on the defensive side of the ball on the D-I level.
