Taliaferro set to end recruiting process

One of the things UVa is hoping to do on defense going forward is to put more pressure on opposing quarterbacks. And a team needs pass-rushers to accomplish such a goal.

One of the top players in Virginia in the class of 2007 is Aaron Taliaferro, and his specialty is rushing the passer.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder from Gloucester High School will announce his college decision today, and the Cavaliers are hoping to get the nod.

Taliaferro will hold a press conference at his school this afternoon at 3 p.m.

Early in his recruitment, Taliaferro named Virginia as his leader. But he backed off that statement early in the spring and has since been piling up offers.
