Penn State after another Va. receiver

Virginia Beach has recently proven itself to be a hotbed for top notch wide receiver prospects, with the Class of 2007 being no exception. Last season, Landstown (Va.) star wide-outs Percy Harvin (No. 1) and Damon McDaniel (No. 69) were both Rivals100 members.

This season is no different, as Kempsville's (Va.) Jay Smith leads the way as the top receiver in the area.

Many consider Smith to be one of the top receivers in ACC country. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has garnered over 30 offers so far, including one from the Nittany Lions. But so far he has yet to narrow his list at all and said he is far from making a decision.

Smith reports Virginia Tech, Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina and several other ACC schools have been his most active recruiters.
