WVU will get one of Williams' Senior Day visits
Many consider Erie Strong Vincent's Maurice Williams as not only one of the state of Pennsylvania's best athletes, but one of the best in the East.
And Williams, who has played wide receiver, quarterback, cornerback and safety during his going-on-four years for Colonels Coach Tom Cacchione, not only was offered by West Virginia this spring, he also will be among those arriving for WVU's Senior Day on June 11.
The rising senior, who projects as a wide receiver on the next level, said he plans to visit again with the Mountaineer coaching staff at Milan Puskar Stadium, but will also visit a similar day on the Penn State campus.
The Mountaineers, Nittany Lions, Georgia, Michigan State and Pitt, among others, have made their pledges to the rising senior.
