Topping the list is Summers-Gavin
Without a doubt, San Francisco St. Ignatius Prep offensive lineman Matt Summers-Gavin is Cal's top offensive tackle target in the 2007 class.
The 6-foot-5, 271-pound all-League performer has blossomed into the top high school O-Line prospect in the Bay Area to watch as the 2006 prep season looms.
With numerous national programs evaluating him, Summers-Gavin is happy with his recruiting so far.
"Definitely, everything is going great," Summers-Gavin said, referring to his recruiting. "I finish up finals next week, so yes, that's it for my junior year."
And what a breakout varsity campaign it was for the Bay Area star. As a junior, Summers-Gavin earned first-team all-West Catholic League honors. He was one of only two underclassmen to make the list. He was also a member of the all-city team.
