Ducks land top-notch OL

The Oregon Ducks just received the verbal commitment from one of the best offensive line prospects on the west coast. The Ducks were able to out duel many suitors, including seven schools from the Pac-10.

The Ducks landed offensive tackle Carson York (6-5, 270, 5.2) from Coeur d'Alene (Idaho) Lake City.

York chose the Ducks over offers from Arizona State, Cal, Oregon State, Stanford, Washington, Washington State and Idaho.

"Oregon is where I wanted to go all along," York said. "Now it is my job to do my part to help Oregon have their greatest recruiting class ever."
