NU looks to end championship drought

Colorado and Kansas State have combined for the last six North titles. Time to share the wealth, fellas. Nebraska returns 15 starters, including QB Zac Taylor from a squad that made a three-win improvement in 2005. While the matchup at Southern Cal will likely feature two top 20 teams, a key three-game stretch -- at Iowa State and at K-State followed by Texas -- will decide a lot. Next up: NEBRASKA.

The good news? Nebraska enters with a three-game winning streak - the longest of any Big 12 team not named Texas. The better news? It could be 7-1 when it faces Texas at home Oct. 21. Who will prevent the Huskers from winning their first North crown since 1999?
