Sheller ready to take the next step
Walnut, Calif., offensive tackle Sean Sheller has known he would be attending UCLA for over a year now and he has gotten used to that portion of his life existing in the future.
The time is fast approaching, though, when Sheller's UCLA career exists in the present and the 6-5, 285-pound lineman is counting down the days.
"My plans are to start June 25 and start the workouts with the team during the summer and get in there and hit it hard for fall camp," said Sheller. "It really hasn't hit me yet. I'm set to graduate in a couple weeks and I know it is just going to hit me. It's a little bit more excitement to get up to the next level and get in and experience it."
Now at 285 pounds, up from the 260 pounds he started last season at, Sheller has been steady in his offseason workout regimen.
