Oregon have a chance?
Michael Ebbitt hasn't shut the door on his recruitment quite yet. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound defensive end out Westlake Village, Calif., Oaks Christian admits, however, that his college path is quickly becoming more clear.
Though he holds 13 scholarship offers from programs across the country, four schools currently hold the inside track to earn his pledge.
"I have offers right now from Texas A&M, Miami, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, Virginia, Utah, Tennessee, Colorado, Northwestern, Washington and Washington State," Ebbitt said. "I have some other schools contacting me, but that's it for now."
"I'd say that Texas A&M, Miami, Colorado and Arizona stand out as my top four. Texas A&M probably have a slight edge. My whole family lives down there so that's an attraction. My brother lives and works in Dallas and my mom grew up down there."
