Spartans after massive Dan Matha

The Penn State NIKE Camp was loaded with excellent offensive line prospects. Michigan State has already secured a commitment from one of the best players at that event, . Another player who stood out that day is Dan Matha of Erie McDowell High School in Pennsylvania. The 6-foot-6, 311-pound Matha recently picked up a scholarship offer from Michigan State. SpartanMag.com spoke with him last night.

"I now have offers from Michigan State, West Virginia, Pitt, Maryland, Virginia, Temple, Connecticut, Marshall, and Akron," Matha said.

The Spartans offered during the May evaluatiuon period. Both Matha's primary recruiter, cornerbacks coach Chuck Dreisbach, and offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland were on hand at the NIKE Camp at Penn State.
