Tight end Szczerba names favorites
Wilmington, Del., Salesianum tight end/defensive end Andrew Szczerba (6-foot-6, 255 pounds, 4.8 seconds) is one of the top tight ends on the East Coast for 2007. Szczerba, a rugged blocker and solid receiver, has racked up nine scholarship offers, with more interest starting to pour in from all over the nation. Virginia, led by assistant Mike Groh, was the first to offer the talented tight end. Are the Cavs the team to beat?
"I have been to Virginia many times and I really like it there. It is beautiful place and a great academic school. They are very high on my list right now," said Szczerba.
Nine schools have offered Szczerba.
