UK camp likely stop for state's No. 1 prospect

Bowling Green's Stuart Hines was recently chosen the Bluegrass State's top football prospect in the Class of 2007 by CatsPause.com and CardinalSports.com, and the talented lineman is prepared to back that up this season.


"It's really exciting," Hines said. "It's an honor to be chosen as the top player in the state, and it motivates me to keep working hard and get better. I know guys will be coming after me, and I have to live up to those expectations."


Hines (6-5, 280, 5.1) has the frame, strength and footwork to be an outstanding offensive tackle at the next level. He already has scholarship offers from Kentucky, Michigan State, West Virginia, Marshall, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Baylor and Troy. He's also drawing interest from Alabama, Louisville and Tennessee, among others.
