Midwest lineman takes weekend visit to Clemson

Over the weekend Clemson had an unofficial visitor in town from the Midwest, 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive lineman Mark Wetterer of Cincinnati Anderson.

Wetterer arrived in Clemson with his parents Friday night and stayed through Saturday. It was the second time the Ohio lineman had taken a visit to Clemson this year, the first being his March 4 trip to Clemson for Junior Day.

Wetterer now holds offers from West Virginia, Maryland, Cincinnati, UConn and Toledo, and he feels a handful of other schools are close to offering, including Clemson.
