Tony Tucker Talks Knoxville Trip
The Washington, D.C., area is rich in talent in the '07 class, and Tennessee is among the many programs recruiting the nation's capital aggressively.
One D.C. prospect emerging as a firm target on the Vols' board this summer is defensive end/linebacker Tony Tucker, who was in Knoxville last weekend for an unofficial visit. He also happens to attend the same high school (St. John's) that produced much heralded Tennessee redshirt freshman Rico McCoy.
Tucker (6-foot-2, 225 pounds, 4.65 40-yard dash) is holding offers from programs up and down the East Coast. Tennessee is among a host of schools that he's holding offers from, including Maryland, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, UNC and Boston College.
