Everson hopes to commit this summer

Detroit Mumford cornerback Cedric Everson is still hoping to make a commitment by the end of the summer and he wants to check out a few more schools before he makes a decision. The four-star athlete has been busy with track in recent weeks, but he plans to take a few more unofficial visits in the near future.

Everson's father, Cedric Everson, Jr., is an assistant football coach at Mumford and the head track coach.

It's about another two or two and a half weeks and then we'll be done with that. We're going to curtail our summer track season to about four meets. We're not going to go all the way through to the Junior Olympics and all that."
