Pula getting Northwest attention
For those who follow high school football in the state of Washington, the name of Roman Pula has been on the radar for a while. Pula took part in the NIKE camp on the campus of the University of Oregon this past weekend and looked very good.
Pula's name first came up as a freshman in high school, when he stepped into the starting running back role for Lincoln High School midway through that season. And with teammates like current Coug Michael Willis as well as Rickey Chapman, the Abes advanced all the way to the quarterfinals before falling to eventual state-finalist Ballard in a back-and-forth game. That season saw Pula rush for over 1,500 yards.
