Are Vols on Top with Travaris Cadet?

Because of the inherent high-profile nature of the position, any talk of quarterback recruiting is generally a popular topic among fans. And though Tennessee isn't in drastic need of a quarterback in this class, there's still plenty of chatter over who the Vols might be in position to sign. One name that's being heard more often of late is Travaris Cadet, a versatile signal caller from Miami's Central High School.

While quarterback isn't the ultimate need position for the Vols, the general consensus at the moment seems to be that the staff will sign one if that 'someone' is the right guy. Judging from the prospects that the staff has targeted thus far, that player will be a dual-threat prospect, and not a classic drop-back passer.

Cadet (6-foot-0, 193 pounds, 4.4 40-yard dash) would fall into that particular category of player that the Vols have targeted. He's that guy who can hurt you with his feet and his arm, and plenty of programs are lining up for the chance to have him flaunt those skills on the next level.
