Coach: Woolfolk has a bright future
After Braylon Edwards, the son of former Michigan running back Stan Edwards, put together the type of career he did in a maize and blue uniform, Michigan fans are ultra-excited about the sons of former Wolverines playing football in Ann Arbor. The latest to have that opportunity is Sugarland (Tex.) Fort Bend Dulles defensive back Troy Woolfolk, the son of former Michigan all-time leading rusher Butch Woolfolk.
The 6-0, 175-pound Woolfolk attended Michigan's Summer Camp while his father watched on this week in Ann Arbor. He had stated previously that Michigan had extended a scholarship offer and following his week of camp, there is talk that he may have decided to follow his father's footsteps to Ann Arbor and play for Michigan. His coach, Jim Creech, has heard the same rumors.
