Calography II with Micheal Calvin

As promised earlier in the week, Calography is back with San Lorenzo (Calif.) wideout Micheal Calvin, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound mega-talent with 4.4 forty speed. One of our favorite targets to ever photograph, Calvin is long, defined, fast, and fun to work with.


What did Calvin think of shooting our Calography segment last weekend at San Lorenzo high school?


"That was just really cool," Calvin said. "I can't believe how clear and how all the colors come out like that. The article, the pictures - they were great. Thanks for all that."


As we reported in previous feature regarding Calvin, just how many 6-foot-3 to 6-foot-5 wide receiver prospects with 4.4 forty yard speed and a strong frame come along? The answer is very few - even nationally - can state that. Finding talented big men with both the size and speed to go up and catch the ball down the sidelines, or over the middle of the field, is a coveted prize when it comes to recruiting. Players with those features also make scoring touchdowns a lot easier, with either the stop and go or the jump ball option in the corner of the end zone.
