Wrapped up in recruiting
Most highly-touted prospects are hoping to have a leisurely summer, to take advantage of the time off from school by doing whatever they want whenever they want.
Chicago Hubbard running back Robert Hughes isn't most prospects.
A shifty 5-foot-11, 226-pounder who runs with toughness and determination, Hughes recently said he had hoped to have his list of potential college destinations down to 10 by his birthday, which was June 21st. That date came and went, and Hughes is no closer to a decision.
Hughes is seen as one of the top 10 running backs in the nation by Rivals.com and is a four-star talent ranked 80th overall.
Hughes, who ran for 1,900 yards last year, didn't name a leader, but did admit Ohio State is still high up in his thoughts.
Hughes counts over 20 offers, with the most recent coming from Tennessee. Among the others offering the talented, powerful runner are Michigan, Penn State, Virginia and Illinois. He's always dreamed of attending Miami, but the Hurricanes have not offered.
