Four-star wideout looking Northwest

Hold your Dawg breath, Husky fans, plans for the heavily-recruited and Rivals four-star rated wide receiver Drew Davis could include Seattle. When asked about his level of interest of suiting up for the purple and gold, he said, "It has to be very high. My cousin R.J. Sanders took an official visit up there in the winter. He said it was beautiful out there, great surroundings, it was a lot like Colorado."

Wherever Davis' future surroundings may be, it will be sure to make use of the wide receiver's talents off as well as on the field. "He's a very good student and a real hard worker," said Montbello Coach John Pounder. "This winter he was ninth in his class. He takes college prep classes. Whoever gets him will not have to worry about his academic eligibility and that's sometimes a big deal for your star athletes."

While Davis' star shines brightly, it could be the luster of a badge and the quality of academic pursuits that could snare the wide receiver's services. "My school would need a high standard for criminology, forensics, that kind of thing. I might be going to school for a while, private eye, FBI, CIA, I could do a lot of things."
