Latif among Southeast's elite linemen

Khalil Latif, a 9-3, 290-pound guard from Midlothian (VA) Manchester, is one of the Southeast's top interior line prospects.


Latif has gotten dramatically stronger since transferring to Midlothian his sophomore season, and as he heads into his senior season, he has received scholarship offers from schools throughout the ACC, SEC, and Big Ten.


"He's the best high school lineman I've seen," said Latif's head coach, Tom Hall. "He's incredibly strong and agile for player of his size."


"He's a prototypical lineman; that's why everyone's after him," Hall added.


Latif, who currently bench presses around 385 pounds, has outstanding lower body strength, evident in his 565 pound squat.
