Cheadle solid at USC Camp
Offensive lineman/defensive lineman Justin Cheadle (6-2, 266, 4.9) from Bakersfield, Calif., was one of the many standouts at USC's Rising Senior Camp.
After a strong showing as a defensive lineman at the NIKE Camp at Palo Alto, he lined up as an offensive tackle at USC.
"USC wanted to see what I could as an offensive lineman," Cheadle said. "They saw what I could do as a defensive player at the NIKE Camp."
"I liked the USC camp it was well coached and a lot of fun," Cheadle said. "There was a lot of competition at the camp.
"There were great players from all over the country. The pace was a lot faster than anywhere I have been.
"It was also special going to the coliseum and being coached the same way the Trojans get coached.
Cheadle was a first-team all-area and all-league selection in football, and he earned the same honors for his basketball talents in 2005.He was also a second-team all-state selection for his football skills as a junior.
