Slusher says he will decide before season
One of the top players in the Bluegrass State is Pikeville's Brent Slusher. The 6-foot-3, 221 pound linebacker/tight end from Bell County High is considered the top linebacker in Kentucky and has seen a slew of offers this offseason.
Now, Slusher says that before his 2006 season starts, he plans to make a decision on his college future.
"I'm going to decide before the season," says Slusher. "I'm not going to go anywhere else. No more camps."
Slusher, who has totalled over 253 tackles, eight sacks, and five interceptions in the past two years, has been getting attention as both a linebacker and tight end from various schools.
Early in his recruiting, Slusher picked up offers from Vanderbilt and Wake Forest as a linebacker, and down the road Cincinnati and Marshall have also offered Slusher as a linebacker.
