Chambers spends time in Ann Arbor

Fort Wayne (Ind.) Snider safety Artis Chambers became the second Michigan commitment in the class of 2007 when he pledged to the Wolverines last February. On June 20, he got a chance to return to Michigan and work out for the coaches at their Summer Technique School. Now measuring in at 6-2 and 190 pounds, Chambers certainly looked the part of an elite college prospect.

The camp gave Chambers an opportunity to work out with his future position coach, Michigan defensive coordinator Ron English, who offered up some areas to focus on in his senior season.

Already being a commitment, Chambers said he took it upon himself to do a little recruiting of the non-committed prospects at camp like Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain safety Eugene Clifford.
