Calif. LB up to six offers

Andre Ferguson, a 6-foot-2 inch 200 pound linebacker out of Redlands (Calif.) East Valley High School is a wanted man right now. The talented defensive standout holds six scholarship offers and is carefully weighing his options.

"The recruiting process is going pretty good right now," he explained. "I've been getting a couple more offers, so we're just staying steady right now." With the newest offers coming in, Ferguson is currently looking at offers from San Diego State, Kansas, UTEP, Arizona State, Wyoming, and Utah.

According to Ferguson, the schools that he is most interested in right now include Colorado State, Arizona State and UTEP. "[I'm interested] mainly because I know people who have gone there or who are about to go there and they've taken me there and shown me their programs. So I really like their programs," he stated.

One major factor in Ferguson's pending decision is the input of his high school coach. "My head coach talks to me about the three main schools that have offered me right now, about how the coaches are really good to get along," he said. "They don't just accept you as a player. They'll help you out school wise and everything. So that's what I'm really liking right now."
