Four-star to visit UCLA

The Bruins will get an official visit from one of the most sought after players in the country in four-star athlete prospect Brandon Paul (5-10, 185, 4.4) from Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln. Not bad when you consider that Paul has approximately 50 offers.

According to Paul's Father, Robert Paul, his son has narrowed things down to a top eight of UCLA, Georgia Tech, Miami, Florida State, Florida, Auburn, LSU and Tennessee.

"UCLA is going to be one of the visits," Robert Paul said. "LSU, Miami, Tennessee and Florida State are others being considered."

"Brandon likes the football and track combo, plus the prestigious academics of UCLA," the elder Paul said. "Distance won't be a problem, my wife has some family in California."

Paul is a very explosive athlete who is also a big time recruit for his talents as a sprinter. He wants to also participate in track on the college level and being able to do so will be a very important part of the decision process.
