Off and running
As the Ohio State offense has transformed into one based on speed, it has caught the eyes of skillful players from around the country and brought them to Columbus. It is that reliance on speed that has Tyrone Carrier considering the Buckeyes.
Carrier is primarily being viewed as a wide receiver at the collegiate level, but he has excelled at other positions in high school. In addition to gaining around 1,000 receiving yards and catching 14 touchdown passes as a junior.
Carrier has received just one official offer from the University of Houston but might not be far from receiving others. More offers could likely be contingent on Carrier taking visits to schools that are after him such as Florida and Ohio State.
