Three still in the mix for Elliott

Okolona running back Robert Elliott was an early commitment to Ole Miss, but has never officially closed things out. Two other schools have continued to recruit him and still have an outside chance. While he remains committed, he will visit these schools and will make a final decision later in the process. Who still holds hope?

"My commitment is still the same, but I am still looking at Mississippi State and Florida State," he said. "I am sill committed, but I am still looking to see what those schools have to offer. I am just looking at them because those are the three schools that are recruiting me the hardest right now."

So what is it about those three that stand out to him?

"Ole Miss, I like all the coaches that they have," he said. "I like all the new facilities. I like their coaching style. I like the coaches that came in from Miami. I think it is a great school to go to.

"Florida State I like their coach, Bobby Bowden. I like the background of their pro football program.

"I like Mississippi State because it is close to home and I like their coaches also. Every time I go down there it is like it is right at home."
