Walls draws interest from Irish

Not much has changed for defensive tackle Logan Walls. The 6-foot-2, 272-pound defender from Dawsonville, Ga., remains one of the most sought after players in the Peach State.


"I'm pretty much at the same 13 or 14 offers, but I'm talking to Virginia Tech a little bit right now," Walls said. "Right now I'm liking Hawaii, BYU, Georgia, Tech, Georgia and Auburn."


In addition to his impressive offer list, Walls is also receiving interest from other top schools including Notre Dame.


"They are showing a little bit of interest," he said. "I talked to the defensive line coach about three weeks ago. He said they really like how I play and stuff and that my transcript had to get through academics and then they were going to show my film to coach (Charlie) Weis."
