Tyus opens it up
It wasn't long ago that Alex Tyus had his future plans neatly wrapped up. The 6-foot-8, 210-pound Cincinnati power forward was going to visit Ohio State, was likely going to commit to Ohio State and all the worry over his future college choice would be done.
Then Evan Turner beat him to the punch.
Tyus has been burning up the courts at ABCD, and the coaches have followed him from spot to spot during games. Florida's Billy Donovan, Louisville's Rick Pitino, USC's Tim Floyd, Memphis' John Calipari and Illinois' Bruce Weber are just a few of the dozens of coaches who have been courtside to watch Tyus play this week.
Tyus had narrowed his choices to Florida and Ohio State last month, but he'll be hearing from many more schools in the near future. Oklahoma State, Memphis, USC are among the schools he may be interested in.
