Evans adding offers, still weighing options

Indianapolis Warren Central running back Darren Evans has been on the road in recent weeks scouting schools and working out for teams. A few new offers have come in, some more are expected, and other schools have jumped into the mix. While interest from some areas has increased, it has waned in others and his decision will likely come down to official visits. Who is in the mix?

Evans had wanted to go to Ohio State early on, but the Buckeyes appear to have had another running back ahead of him and a commitment hurt his chances of getting an offer. Wisconsin emerged as a leader, but problems have appeared there too. Evans', father, Darren Evans, Sr. comments on how that has affected his whole thought process.

"All of that stuff is still true, then this past weekend, he went to Georgia and Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech is going to offer him," he explained. "They were talking to his coach and his academic advisor went with him and they want to offer him too."
